Barney Bussey (Barney A. Bussey) was born on May 20, 1962 in Lincolnton, Georgia. After going to high school at Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA), Bussey attended South Carolina State University. Bussey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1990 was Barney Bussey's best year, as he picked off 4 passes and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
