Baldy Louden (William P. Louden) was born on August 27, 1883 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1907 for the New York Highlanders. In 1912, his rookie year, he hit .241 with 1 home run and 36 RBI. Louden played for the New York Highlanders, Detroit Tigers, Buffalo Blues and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Baldy Louden's best season was 1914, when he stole 35 bases, hit for a .313 average and knocked in 63 runs.
