Bad Time to be a Dolphins Fan?

To answer that question, yes, it is a very bad time to be a Dolphins fan. The Dolphins had to let go of who was thought to be the answer to their QB situation after Culpepper had two injury plagued seasons, and also lose backup Joey Harrington (not that he was worth keeping). But Miami also lost head coach Nick Saban, who left for Alabama. The new head coach, Cam Cameron? Which isn't necessarily a bad decision, but he tries to solve the QB situation by overlooking Brady Quinn in the draft, and instead signing 37-year old vet, Trent Green. Not the answer to their long-term QB situation. And he drafts Ted Ginn Jr? Who, by the way, is most likely only going to be a threat in the return game, if that, I just don't see him making a big impact as a rookie, if at all.
I don't really blame the Dolphins fans for booing Cam Cameron, after he introduced Ginn Jr. But, I do think they were being skeptical when they booed knewly signed QB Trent Green during the Dolphins first preseason game at Jacksonville, totally unfair for Green, if your going to blame anyone, blame Cam Cameron, and Miami's front office, not Green. The fans of Miami, i'm sure, will boo every one of their QB's from now on, they are just to close to Dan Marino, that every QB they get has to be just like him. I don't like it.
The Dolphins defense isn't looking to swell either. Yes, they have the best DE in the NFL, and possibly the best tackler in NFL history, well, in Miami's history anyway. But, how much longer are they going to put up those kinds of numbers? Who knows. Miami added a very good LB this offseason, but may have wasted their 20 million dollars in guaranteed money, because new Phin, Joey Porter will miss at least the entire preseason, and maybe more, due to knee surgery. And Porter deffinetely will not be the same as he was before the knee surgery.
Yup, if I were a fan of Miami, I would much rather watch the Miami Hurricanes college football season this year, it may not be as painful. Heck, the Florida Marlins will probably just as, or maybe even more exciting to watch. Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that Ronnie Brown won't be a very big threat either. Sprry, but I just don't see him having a breakout year like most people expect. Brown has yet to prove he is able to carry the load as a full-time starter in the NFL, and I don't even expect a 1,000 yard season, sorry folks.
