Back to Back Games, Back to Back Losses........

After winning a game where the referees helped the Stars out, Dallas went out and lost both games of a back to back set, One to Vancouver and One to Calgary.
Thoughts on the series:
-Stars drop two straight games for the first time this season. Yet, the Stars shouldn't lose three in a row as their next game is at Phoenix on Thursday.....
If there is a team in the NHL that you should turn around a recent slide, it is Phoenix as the Coyotes are in a struggle for the bottom of the Western Conference Standings.........
-On Monday, Vancouver Canucks Defenseman Kevin Bieksa scored a goal on Mike Smith that looked eerily similar to Jamie Langenbrunner's Game Winner a few years ago versus Detroit in the 1998 Western Conference Finals......
-On Monday, the game was decided by the Special Teams Battle as Vancouver scored a late power play game to win. On Tuesday, the Stars scored a power play goal, but that goal was the only goal for the visitors versus Calgary.....
That looks like an inconsistent team to me during these last two games.
-Look at the goaltenders who the Stars played during this back to back set:
Monday: Roberto Loungo of the Canucks (Tied for 3rd in the NHL in Wins, 9th in NHL in GAA)
Tuesday: Miikka Kiprusoff of the Flames ( Currently in the Top 15 of Wins, GAA and Save Pct.)
The Stars may be pressing of the offensive end, but in the past two games, they have had to beat some outstanding goaltenders.....
As bad as the Stars offense has been recently, those netminders had something to say about the Stars offensive production.
Stars look to avoid three straight losses at Phoenix on Thursday....
