Baby Doll Jacobson (William Chester Jacobson) was born on August 16, 1890 in Cable, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1915 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1915, his rookie year, he hit .211 with 1 home run and 13 RBI. Jacobson played for the St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Athletics and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Baby Doll Jacobson's best season was 1920, when he hit for a .355 average and knocked in 122 runs.
