Babe Martin (Boris Michael Martin) was born on March 28, 1920 in Seattle, Washington. He made his Major League debut on September 25, 1944 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1945, his rookie year, he hit .200 with 2 home runs and 16 RBI. Martin played for the St. Louis Browns and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 6 year career.
