Babe Connaughton (Harry Aloysius Connaughton) was born on June 6, 1905 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA), Connaughton attended Georgetown University. Connaughton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets for his entire 1 year career.
