Very quick opinion....
Now I have always dreamed of being given the chance to vote for the Baseball Hall of Fame, but I hope that by the time I reach the "journalism" world, journalists will no longer be voting for the Hall of Famers.
Major League Baseball can change the Hall of Fame vote by either 1. creating a mathematical system that determines the players' respective position among the top players in that specific time or 2. Have an elected committe, including Bud Selig, vote. I would prefer the first choice because this system would truly show if that specific player is worthy of the Hall of Fame.
Now, as for Big Mac, he would be up for nomination and if the system let him pass, he would be allowed to go. Since McGwire was the first nominee of the Steroid Era, maybe Bud Selig should question McGwire before allowing him in the Hall, making the head of baseball the last vote.
I have to go study finals. After all, I still am a high school student. But seriously, what do you think they should do? Should they stick with the current system or pick an alternative?
