B.W. Cheeks (B.W. Cheeks, Jr.) was born on August 1, 1941 in Hearne, Texas. After going to high school at Phillis Wheatley (Houston, TX), Cheeks attended Texas Southern University. Cheeks made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 1 year career.
