Autry Beamon (Autry Beamon, Jr.) was born on November 12, 1953 in Terrell, Texas. After going to high school at Kaufman (TX), Beamon attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Commerce. Beamon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1977 was Autry Beamon's best year, as he picked off 6 passes.
