Born on November 20, 1902 in Frierson, Louisiana, Augie Prudhomme (John Olgus Prudhomme) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 1 year career. Prudhomme broke into the bigs on April 19, 1929 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 6.22 ERA in 94 innings pitched in 1929, his rookie year.
