Auburn, Not Clean Either

Why does everyone bag on USC coach Pete Carroll for running a loose program. Some call it the Miami/Florida State of the West Coast. I guess everyone tries to take the head off of the guy on top. Auburn is getting away from more stuff. If USC was doing this it will be front page news, but it was on the 8th page of the paper in a tiny column labled other news. Well here is the article.

Really? I've never heard it called that. And what newspaper would that be on the 8th page of? I'm curious, because newspapers tend to put special emphasis on news with local interest. I just looked up the article on the New York Times website, and they devoted five pages to the story. That's many more pages than they have for most real news stories. That's hardly a lack of coverage.
