Tonight Aubrey Huff hit for the cycle, in a 9-7 loss at home against the LA Angels. Huff became only the third oriole to do so since the franchise moved from St. Louis in 1954. He finished the game going 4 for 4, with 1 HR, 3 RBI's, 3 Runs. On the year he has 6 HR, 38 RBI's, with a .263 BA. But in the past three games he has been on fire. He has a .455 BA, with 2 HR, and 6 RBI's, and 4 runs.
During those three games the o's have been 1- (one of the games was suspended until July 27, although some people have counted it as a loss, because they were losing when it got suspended). Im sure most of you guys are saying, "Big friggin' deal, its only been three games," But I am looking on the bright side and saying, "If we keep going at this pace, then we will be at .500."
Maybe Dave Trembley is the answer to turning the sorried franchise around, who have struggled since Cal Jr. retired in '01. I am hoping that Aubrey Huff can step up and lead the team to some more wins, after losing Miggy until at least July 7th, but it will most likely be much longer than that.
