Ashley Sheppard (Ashley Guy Sheppard) was born on January 21, 1969 in Greenville, North Carolina. After going to high school at Fork Union (VA) Military Academy and North Pitt (Bethel, NC), Sheppard attended Clemson University. Sheppard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1993 was Ashley Sheppard's best year.
