Arturo DeFreites (Arturo Marcelino (Simon) DeFreites) was born on April 26, 1953 in San Pedro de Macoris, Macoris (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1978 for the Cincinnati Reds. DeFreites played for the Cincinnati Reds for his entire 2 year career.
