Artie Clarke (Arthur Franklin Clarke) was born on May 6, 1865 in Providence, Rhode Island. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1890 for the New York Giants. In 1890, his rookie year, he hit .225 with 0 home runs and 49 RBI. Clarke played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
