He could put a team over the top in the standings and in the luxury tax. You don't want him in the field and it would be at least until May until he's ready to play, not to mention the circus that will follow. I don't want him on my team...

I am not a fan of his at all...he is a cheat...but if he played the whole year with a team he would still have an on base % of .400+ slugging % of 1.000+ and be a home run hitter....teams need a player liuke him and the circus wont be anything like it was last year chasing the record and it be worth it if he gets you to the playoffs

If I were the owner of a team that is in need of a player to get me to the top or keep me there, Barry Bonds IS NOT THE ANSWER! He's trouble in the clubhouse, not exactly fan or media friendly and has the cloud of a possible prison stretch over his head like a dark cloud. I do not want to be part of the media circus that would take place every home and road game. Plus, he's not the fielder he once was, so going to an NL team is out of the question, if at all. Yes, he could DH... but would you rather lose honestly or win by having a suspected cheat on your team? I would take the losing and do my best Pilate impersonation and wash my hands of him.

If you really think he is the only one that cheated or even the names in the Mitchell Report were the only guys who were juiced, you are crazy. So should Tejada not be playing...How about Pettie...if the clubs cared about honesty we would have about 15 to 20 MLB teams then the rest filled with AAA players. Yes they are.....I know your a fan but the aren't even close to as good as the Padres, Rockies, D Backs, or Dodgers and will be out of the playoff race by the All Star break. Whats worst is next year is not looking much better. The 3 highest payed players are Zito, Durham, and Visquel and yes they have a couple young studs but not enough to carry the team....you telling me Barry wouldn't help this team? You better be ready for a rebuilding year or two or four!
