Where Does Money Mayweather Go From Here?

Retired? Shocking news today as ESPN is reporting that Floyd "Money" Mayweather has retired from boxing and cancelled his rematch agaisnt Oscar De La Hoya. Quotes from Floyd:
"It is with a heavy heart that I write you this message today," Mayweather said in a statement. "I have decided to permanently retire from boxing. This decision was not an easy one for me to make as boxing is all I have done since I was a child. However, these past few years have been extremely difficult for me to find the desire and joy to continue in the sport. "I have said numerous times and after several of my fights over the past two years that I might not fight again. At the same time, I loved competing and winning and also wanted to continue my career for the fans, knowing they were there for me and enjoyed watching me fight. However, after many sleepless nights and intense soul-searching I realized I could no longer base my decision on anything but my own personal happiness, which I no longer could find. So I have finally made up my mind, spoken to my family, particularly my mother, and made my decision."
So where does he go from here? There's no way he could top (or get anywhere near) the 20 million pay he would have received from fighting DeLa Hoya by doing anything else besides, well....fighting Oscar DeLa Hoy. Mayweather loves money and the spotlight (as evidenced by his WWE and Dancing With The Stars shenanigans) I can't imagine he would just suddenly drop out of the limelight.
So where does he go from here?
Here's some rumor fodder for you. How bout a foray into MMA. Wouldn't that be exciting? Mayweather has talked a lot of trash about MMA in his day, here's his shot to back it up. Can you imagine the draw of having Mayweather fight someone like WEC poster boy Urijah Faber?
The problem of course is that Dana White probably couldn't afford to pay Floyd more than two million (that's one zero short of Floyds boxing payday) Would Floyd be able to bring himself for fighting for that much money? Floyd also has a relationship with Mark Cuban, who owns HDNET and is trying to get his own MMA promotion going. Well I couldn't think of a much better poster boy for a start up organization than Pretty Boy Floyd.
As Kimbo Slice showed us you don't need to be the most skilled to be a ratings draw. You just need an image, a reputation and Floyd certainly has that.
