Week 5 Preview and Predictions

Cincinnati @ Baltimore: Cincy has surprised a lot of people this year. Both teams sitting at 3 & 1 and atop the AFC North. We're in store for a great divisional game. *Ravens win 27-14*

Cleveland @ Buffalo: Cleveland will put Derek Anderson under center again this week. He had a good game last week, but lost in overtime to the Bengals. Buffalo is coming off getting stomped by the Dolphins. The 0 & 4 Browns get their first win against T.O. and company this week. Browns *35-31*

Washington @ Carolina: The 2 & 2 Redskins take on the winless Panthers. Maybe the bye week helped the Panthers, and I think that they get their first win of the season against the terrible 'skins. *Carolina, 14-9*

Pittsburgh @ Detroit: The Lions don't have a shot at beating the defending Super Bowl Champs. Rashard Mendenhall will run all over the Lions D. *Steelers win 31-7*

Dallas @ Kansas City: Dallas is coming off a loss to the Broncos. Maybe they can tackle this week. They will have Marion Barber back for the game but most likely he will split carries with Choice. The Chiefs are arguably the worst team in the NFL. *Cowboys win 31-0*

Oakland @ New York Giants: The Giants look to stay undefeated this week against the one win Raiders. Oakland's D couldn't stop a basketball from going through a needle. Blowout. *Giants win 40-9*

Tampa Bay @ Philadelphia: The winless Bucs look to beat the Eagles, who just came off their bye. McNabb and Westbrook will be playing. This isn't going to be much of a game. *Eagles win 31-17*

Minnesota @ St. Louis: Undefeated Vikes look to stay that way against the Rams who still haven't won a game this season. Adrian Peterson will run wild. Ill be surprised if (he who shall be anonymous) throws over 150 yards. *Vikings win 24-10*

Atlanta @ San Francisco: GAME OF THE WEEK. This should be a great football game. The Falcons had a bye last week and will take on the 3 & 1 49ers. I think the Falcons squeak this one out in. Atlanta, *24-20*

Houston @ Arizona: Houston has a nice offense but they have no resemblance of a defense. This match-up will pin the best two wide outs in the league against each other. Arizona wins because they might have some defense in them after the bye. Arizona, *31-27*

New England @ Denver: The 4 & 0 Broncos look to take down Tom Brady and the Pats. Should be a good game. *Denver wins 21-20*

Jacksonville @ Seattle: The battle of two bad teams. Jaguars look like they might be improving. The Seahawks are not as good this year without Holmgren. *Seattle wins 14-9*

Indianapolis @ Tennessee: The undefeated Colts are going to romp the Titans. The Titans have no pass defense at all. Peyton Manning goes wild. *Colts win 31-7*

New York Jets @ Miami: Divisional game will be a pretty close one. Sanchez will pass for a couple touchdowns. *Jets win 21-10*

Interesting predictions but I don't think the Jets will beat Miami at Miami. Sanchez still a little weak when he is rushed and doesn't deliver yet under that kind of pressure as he showed last week against New Orleans. That game was a real welcome to the NFL for him, we will see if he can pick himself up and move on. He is only a rookie and has only 4 games under his belt. Not consistent with the middle, up the middle pass yet and last week looked like he started to panic during the rush and lost his concentration in the pocket. The question everyone is asking now is "are the Rams ever going to win a game?" time will tell, I don't think they are that bad to go 0-18.

Were you close in any of your scores? I see you missed the Browns game by about 30. I guess the Giants score was close, 44-7 vs 40-9. Colts 31-9 vs. 31-7.
