There are some things about sports I don't like... the New Yuck Muts, the University of Michigan and those ASSCRACK UGLY HELMETS, the Floridamn Gayturds and the Miami Crimicanes. I also think that NASCRAP and professional wrestling are a HUGE waste of air time on television and would rather watch women's Jello wrestling!

Tigers STILL winless - Game recap

The Chicago White Sox continued the woes of the Detroit Tigers this afternoon at Comerica Park with a three-run seventh inning, thanks to a three-run homer by catcher A.J. Pierzynski to take an 8-5 win Friday afternoon. Pierzynski went 3-for-5 with 5 RBIs as the White Sox evened their record on the 2008 season to 2-2 while Detroit has yet to tally a win in four tries.

The Sox broke the game open in the top of the seventh, scoring the three runs against losing pitcher Jason Grilli. Detroit mounted a rally in the ninth against reliever Bobby Jenks and had runners at first and second against reliever Bobby Jenks before shortstop Edgar Renteria lined out to rightfielder Jermaine Dye to end the contest under overcast skies and a game time temperature of 40 degrees in downtown Detroit. Dye would finish with a 3-for-5 day at the plate. Joe Crede (2-for-5) and Paul Konerko (2-for-3) chipped in for the White Sox offense. Jenks picked up his second save of the season. Lefty Boone Logan took the win in relief.

Catcher Ivan Rodriguez (3-for-4, 2 RBI and 2 doubles) and centerfielder Clete Thomas (3-for 4) were the offense for the Tigers.

So what do you think about the game Cougar?
Should the Tigers be worried about these early struggles?
The bull-pen of the Tigers seems very weak at this point. Will that be their Achillies heel?
What about the starting pitchers? How did they fair?
What is the final score?

That should get you started...

Will take that under advisement. Thanks.

The Tigers are certainly not looking like the world beaters everyone thought they would be. Of course it is early, and in baseball at this point 4 games means nothing. Their pitching rotation certainly isn't up to snuff in comparison to that lineup.
