Throwing your GM under the bus a BAD idea, Ozzie!

You're Kenny Williams and you're sitting in your office at US Cellular Field (formerly Comiskey Park) and you notice in the sports sections of both the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune that your team has been swept by the Tampa Bay (Devil) Rays in a three game series in St. Petersburg. You're still in first place in the American League Central, a division that may or may not be one of the stronger divisions in the league and all of a sudden, your manager goes on a tirade and even goes so far as to throw you under the bus.
What is your next move, Kenny? Do you spring into action like Jack Bauer on 24 and go after the problem head on to bring in the rogue agent or do you take the Jack McCoy approach and try to make a deal?
My advice is for you to sit down with your skipper in private and settle this thing. After all, you're the one signing the checks, Kenny. You created Ozzie Guillen and you can destroy him. It's time to take a stand. You've got too much talent to go to hell in a handcart. Yes, let him have his little tirades. But let him know, to quote Bill Cosby, that "I brought you into this world and I can take you out." Make that message clear to the 25 men that collect checks, too.
It's a bad time to throw your GM under the bus, Ozzie. It's a bad time to kill Kenny. You need to do your part and start playing better. There's still time. You're still on top in the AL Central. You share in some of the blame, too, big guy.
So as you're making out that lineup card for tommorow's game against Kansas City at US Cellular (which I STILL call Comiskey!), be mindful of one thing. If you bite the hand that feeds you, that hand will pimp slap you, bottom line.
