The Tomahawk Times - Braves and Rockies snowed out Thursday

DENVER -- Thursday's contest between the Atlanta Braves and Colorado Rockies has been postponed due to snow. The game will be made up June 16, and off day for both clubs, but a start time has not been set.

On Deck: The Braves head to Washington to begin a three-game series with the Nationals on Friday. Tim Hudson is scheduled to face Matt Chico in the opener. Game time is set for 7:35 PM EST.

Snow? Seriously? It is bothering because I am sitting on my deck in 75 degree weather and to think that it is snowing somewhere in the continental United States just seems absurd...

Not too often we can say that an Atlanta sports team does not get to play because of snow... home or away. This was one of those days. I think that a day off right now might be a good thing.
