Strat-0-Matic Baseball

Well I have played several seasons this game appears to favor some owner over others,There is one guy in several leagues that I have been in that always wins!!! it seems fixed sometimes but all in all its alot of fun. LOL

I'm sure it also looked fixed to The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz when Big Ernie Ladd put him down with "The Asiatic Spike"

I don't know anything about this space age version played with a keyboard,monitor and mouse. It sounds like a computer virus waiting to happen,to me. Strat-O-Matic is meant to be played at a table with a friend or friends,game sheets,Individual player cards(basic version),3 dice,a worn out X-Chart,20 split cards,pens,pencils with erasers and your favorite team's game on the radio,in the background. It should take no longer than 20 minutes to play a 9 inning game. If you must look down at fans of the basic game,,playing with the advanced version on the back of the cards is acceptable. I admit that this is more realistic but you will need reading glasses at the minimum. It is important that you bring the soda pop of your choice and snackable items to be shared with all. Strat-O-Matic is a marathon event and if your wife or girlfriend isn't willing to stay near the kitchen and keep the sandwiches coming,Pizzas might have to be ordered. Now,get comfortable and roll the dice!

That's easy for you to say but my wife hates me and I have no friends.

We had a 4 man Friday night league at a guys house in the late 80's and there was almost nothing that kept us from playing. Snowstorms,illness,Nothing! We played on the night that the host's wife delivered their second child! She told him to go home and play. She was a great woman!.....Terry,I know Mrs. Bender likes you,at least a little bit. ;)
