What's up. My name is Amir, I love sports, A HUGE fan. My Passion and Soul is in Footbal "Soccer", I know mostly everything there is about it. I also love Baseball, Basketball and American Football, in that order. I do my best not to be biased to one team, or any for that matter. I am a huge Real Madrid fan, but I give credit where credit is due. So if Barcelona, Valencia or any other team for that matter, I will not bash them because I can. I love sports and it's fans because for me it is a intoxicating drug that gives me something to do. The only thing I hate are fans who have some narrow minded opinion on something. It is a right for everyone to have a say but please make an educated and reasonable opinion or point of view.

Is this Transfer Saga finally down and dusted?
Is this Transfer Saga finally down and dusted?

An unprecedented agreement between Italian powerhouse AC Milan and LA Galaxy is on the cards. Is it truly over?

Serie A heavyweights Milan and LA Galaxy could be about to reach an unprecedented and unique agreement involving the iconic English midfielder David Beckham.

Beckham's future has to be decided by Monday, and negotiations are continuing in an attempt to tie him to Milan past the March 10 deadline.

British media outlet Sky Sports have stated that, due to Beckham's desire to remain in Milan, together with the calcio club's interest in securing a permanent move for the player - who has taken the Italian league by storm - a "unique agreement" will be discussed this week that will see Milanese and Galaxy oufits effectively "share" the 33-year-old.

Sky Sports indicate that the unique agreement will see Beckham stay with Milan for the rest of the Serie A season. He will then return to the Galaxy to compete for the remainder of the MLS season before moving back to Italy for what could be the final transfer of his long and illustrious career.

The move will be a new deal in world football and is already being dubbed a "time share" agreement.

One further option for Milan is to buy Beckham outright. However, some sources believe that AC Milan will have trouble financing the deal as LA Galaxy are unlikely to settle for anything less than €11.2 million (£10m).

The Galaxy's stance on the matter remains the same as it has done since day one. They are still adamant that Beckham will honor the initial agreement and will return State-side on March 10.

This has gone way too long and March 10 is drawing nearer and nearer, I don't think Beckham has enough stamina left in him to play throughout the summer and return fit enough to play for AC Milan, but I underestimated Beckham when he went to Milan in the first place, I won't do it again.

LA and the MLS can keep him as a half-assed, non-caring PR tool and Milan can keep him as a soccer player. He's going to take the summer off, whether he's in LA or not.

And neither do I A QQ.

Maybe it's because I can't stand the LA Galaxy as an organization, but it's time they end this Beckham thing once and for all. This was just a PR stunt to get money from sales tickets because their quality of football blows.

You see, trying to make soccer popular amongst the general American public is not to sign an over-the-hill star. Want to know what happened the last time? It was the NASL.

Eventually, they'll retire and the league will fold. The great attendance had to do with paying to see a player, not a team.

Until American men's soccer performs well in the World Cup on a consistent basis, it will never be popular here.

I think Beckham should go to Milan and end this saga. He's putting in 50 times the effort in Italy than he is here for a lower cost.

Very True SSreporters, I cannot agree more.. American soccer on a national level must improve, that is the only way.

This is a PR Stunt written all over it. You're right that the major number of attendance is going to the games to see a player and not a team.

Beckham is putting 50 times more effort because he is surrounded by players that are superstars. Kaka, Ronaldinho, Seedorf and Maldini to name a few.

When you are around such talents it is ordinary to step up your game and say, these guys are superstars, I have to show myself.

Beckham also wants to seal a spot in the 2010 World Cup, I don't think he will be able to even be considered if he stays in LA.

The truly great make the people around them better. They do not need to be surrounded by greatness for they, themselves, to be great.
