A look at the sports week's biggest losers…
A "FOX-Style" Knockoff which has no relation to any other weekly sport themed cooking articles
|} Welcome to the Saturday Sizzler, where we take a look at who was the sports world's biggest idiot(s) this week.

So let’s stop watching the oil heat up, and go take a look at our three finalists and of course, the special recipient who will be dunked into the Sizzler this week!!!

THE FINALISTS
Isiah Thomas
You had a good run, Zeke. You were the Sanjaya of the NBA, better yet Sanjaya was the Isiah Thomas of American Idol. Dolan still owes you money so you are now an 18 million dollar errand boy thats gotta suck

You could've left years ago, and someone somewhere would've been foolish enough to hire you, but instead, you wanted to stay because you truly felt your team could turn it around or you just loved New York so much you couldn't leave.

You ran one the the NBA's prized franchises into the ground, you made the leagues biggest market not care about basketball, and not only did you get fired on your day off, but now you have been fired twice by the same person. You're like that black lady on the Apprentice.

And then what was your master plan to keep your job? Free food at Madison Square Garden. You got butts in the seats, but did you know how long it took to get them out the seats?

Now you will likely never work in the NBA again, not even as a commentator.

SPLASH! Into the Sizzler you go, Zeke!

Miguel Tejada
Damn homie, a while ago you were the man homie...WTF happened to you?

First he gets traded from a horrible situation to an awful one, then he get busted for steroids, and now he get busted for lying about his age. He might want to make sure there isnt a David Ortiz jersey buried under his house.

On the plus side, it explained his lack of production. 34 isn't exactly the new 20. To make things worse, he got burned on national TV. The only thing that might've been worse is if Chris Hanson did it. What essentially begun as a ploy to make it big in the Majors became a flat out case of fraud, once he was established as a legitimate player, he could've came out and still had a great career, and now the Orioles are crying highway robbery saying they wouldn't have given him so much money if they knew. Even though thats a damn lie and they got their money's worth, it sucks to be Miguel.

The only scandals missing is a DUI and a child out of wedlock...

Carmelo Anthony
Your team is struggling make the playoffs, and what do you do get busted for a DUI...

Driving drunk is one dumb thing, but 4 in the morning swerving in and out of lanes in an expensive ass car is just asking for it. If he blocked the driving lanes on the court that well, Melo might actually avoid his 5th consecutive one and done (remember in college when he was regarded as one of the best clutch players ever). But what makes every scandal worse is the spinoff stories. There are stories about police favoritism (not a good look for Mr. Stop Snitchin) to his wife refusing to pick him up. And he wants to the credit of LeBron and D-Wade....

AND THE LOSER IS . . .
US Congressmen
There oughta be a Vitamin Water commercial about it, a congressman has some Formula 50 and decides he wants to try to run a sports league.

First came Mitchell, then came Specter, and now there's two more cases of congressmen worrying about everything except the national debt, the war, and every issue they promised to fix when they were campaigning

Reps. Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii), Lynn Westmoreland (R-Ga.), and Mike Simpson, (R-Idaho) are introducing a resolution that would require Justice's antitrust division to investigate the BCS. The measure also would put Congress on record as supporting a college football playoff. While I would love a playoff, I don't want congress getting involved, especially biased Reps from Hawaii and Georgia.

If that wasn't enough meddling....

Washington's two U.S. Senators, Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, have called to postpone the move to Oklahoma City. They believe that attempting to allow a move away from Seattle at this time would be a breach of trust and set a damaging precedent for the NBA. They were initially trying to block the owners from voting yesterday but it was too little to late as owners approved the move 28-2

Missed the Sizzle Fo Shizzle: Chad Johnson, C.C. Sabathia, MLB

If it was truly "FOX-Style", you'd have written it the way Tim McCarver speaks. Nobody would understand what you were saying, of course, but I'm sure it would be worth it.

Nice Job, Trizz. So many viable candidates. Glad to see Chad Johnson as a "dishonorable mention" candidate...he definitely earned a place in the sizzler.
