Here are my football predictions for this week, in what will likely be my final post this year. Not counting the Patriots-Giants game last night, my record on the season is 152-88 (.633).

In most of the games where a team has already clinched a playoff spot, I am guessing that that team will be resting its starters, so I'm often picking the other team. The Colts vs. Titans are one example, where I'm picking the Titans because the Colts will be resting their starters.

Seattle Seahawks 24, Atlanta Falcons 12. I'm not sure whether Seattle has anything to play for or not, but Atlanta's just plain dismal.

New Orleans Saints 24, Chicago Bears 14.

Cleveland Browns 27, San Francisco 49ers 23.

Detroit Lions 26, Green Bay Packers 23.

Houston Texans 24, Jacksonville Jaguars 21

Cincinnati Bengals 28, Miami Dolphins 19.

Buffalo Bills 23, Philadelphia Eagles 21.

Carolina Panthers 24, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17.

Arizona Cardinals 25, St. Louis Rams 17.

Pittsburgh Steelers 34, Baltimore Ravens 13.

Minnesota Vikings 27, Denver Broncos 13. For the first time ever, I will be rooting against my own Denver Broncos. They have no shot at the playoffs and the Vikings do, so I'm definitely pulling for the Vikings here. Adrian Peterson should gain about 800-900 yards against the Denver "defense" in this game.

New York Jets 27, Kansas City Chiefs 20. Without Larry Johnson, the Chiefs are arguably the worst team in the NFL.

San Diego Chargers 36, Oakland Raiders 21.

Washington Redskins 29, Dallas Cowboys 16. If the Redskins win, the Vikings still won't make the playoffs. Go Cowboys!

Tennessee Titans 23, Indianapolis Colts 20.

The battle between Adidas and the University of Central Florida over the brand of shoes Michael Jordan's son will wear has cost the school any future sponsorship with Adidas. Ring, ring. That must be Nike on the phone.
