Im doing my list of possible MVP canidates in no paticular order just by divisions.

NL EAST

1. Atlanta Braves- Chipper Jones being injured will hurt his chances but he does deserve a chance to be MVP. His average is still high at .369(1st), he's got a great OBP .466(1st) and OPS 1.062(2nd)  plus hes third in SLG at .596. But besideds Chipper Jones theres no one else really to consider on the Braves.

2. Washington Nationals- Skipping the Nationals for understandable reasons.

3. New York Mets- First thought was a last year canidate David Wright, he's got an okay .288 average but 19 homers with 78 RBI's(3rd) along side his 69 runs scored(5th) and 67 extra base hits(3rd) helps. Jose Reyes was next his 34 stolen bases are second in the N.L. and its possible for him to reach the 20-20-20-20 club this year but the would be 2 more HRs and 3B then projected. His .296 average is respectable and would really help if he could get it above .300.

4. Philadelphia Phillies- We all know what Chas Utleys doing and he seems to be the favorite this year among fans and players. Ranks 3rd in HRs with 25, 5th in runs with 69, 8th in OPS .936 and RBIs 70 including 9th in SLG .566. Then there's Ryan Howard, I know 135 strikeouts and a .234 average. But he's tied for the lead in HRs (29) and leads in RBIs (88). Two of the three componets of the triple crown.

5. Florida Marlins-  Dan Uggla may have had a bad all-star game but that means nothing because he can produce in the regular season his 24 HRs is 6th and a .576 SLG is 7th plus a .933 OPS is 9th. Second i thought of Hanley Ramirez 82 runs puts him in first 23 SBs 5th 23 HRs 7th and a .923 .OPS.

NL CENTRAL

6. Milwaukee Brewers- Maybe Ryan Braun with 25 HRs (3rd) .573 SLG (8th) and 72 RBIs (7th). But then I thought about CC Sabathia since joining the Brewers, hes 4-0 a 1.36 ERA with 3 straight complete games. Not to mention he can actually hit good for a pitcher, he's got 2 home runs a double and 2 RBIs.

7. Chicago Cubs- Derek Lee has 16 homeruns and 61 RBIs along with a .297 average. He also ranks 9th in runs scored at 65. I cant really think of any other players maybe Aramis Ramirez with 17 HRs, 68 RBIs and a .270 average.

8. Cincinnati Reds- To start off i decided to go with Adam Dunn who is tied with Howard in homeruns (29) and leads in extra bases (76). His .944 OPS is 7th and SLG 10th (.554) with a .389 OBP (11th).   Also  Edinson Volquez who is 2nd in wins (12), 1st in ERA at 2.49, 3rd in win percentage(.800) and is 5 in strikeouts with 129.

9. Houston Astros-  The Astros have my personal pick for MVP Lance Berkman, he leads in SLG(.625) and OPS(1.063) is 2nd in runs scored(82), the .437 OBP is 3rd, a high .338 average is 4th. Also his 74 RBIs is 5th the 61 extra base hits is 6th not to mention his 22 HRs being 9th.

10. Pittsburgh Pirates- They dont have any utstanding canidates but they have some honerable mentions in Jason Bay with 68 runs scored(8th) 22 HRs(9th) and is 11th in extrabase hits with 58. Xavier Nady is 5th in average with a .330 has 13 homeruns and 57 RBIs.

11. St. Louis Cardinals- Albert Pujols is 2nd in average(.349) and OBP(.461), third in OPS(1.054) and 4th in extra base hits with 65 and SLG with .593.He also has 18 homers and 56 RBIs.  And as an honerable mention Ryan Ludwick who has 23 homeruns(8th) 69 RBIs(11th) a .595 SLG is 3rd has a .961 OPS(6th) and 65 runs scored(9th)

 NL WEST

12. Los Angeles Dodgers- Pass

13. San Diego Padres-  I guess Kevin Kouzmanoff could be an hoerable mention with 13 homers 48 RBIs and a .279 average.

14. San Francisco Giants- Aaron Rowand has a .292 average 9 homeruns and 53 RBIs. But there best bet is Tim Lincecum with 11 wins(5th) leads in strikouts with 143, 4th in win percentage at .786, 7th in innings pitched at 135.2 and 4th in ERA at 2.79.

15. Colorado Rockies-  Garrett Atkins has 14 homeruns 61 RBIs a .302 average and a .812 OPS. Then theres Matt Holliday with an impressive .343 average(3rd) he's 4th in OBP(.429) and OPS(1.011) and 7th in SLG with a .582.

16. Arizona Diamondbacks- There best player to win MVP is definitly Brandon Webb who leads the legue in wins(13), 10th in strikeouts with 116 and ERA at 3.11 and is 5th in innings pitched at 139.0. Plus he is 6th in WHIP at 1.16 and win percentage at .765 including him being 3rd in complete games at 2.

Even though im a Phillies fan i have to got with Lance Berkman for MVP who is dominating the league right now. I cant pick Chase because he has cooled off and hasnt been producing lately.
