My Solution For Jackie Robinson Day

I've been thinking a lot about the best way to commemorate the late great Jackie Robinson on April 15. I don't like how everyone wears #42.

I think it is making a mockery of the significance of the day. My solution every year is to make a Jackie Robinson Award where every year one player is chosen as the best player exhibiting strides in civil rights as well as community service, and in turn that player would be the only player able to wear #42 in honor of Jackie Robinson, except on the 5th and 10th anniversaries.
