About the Author

Cougar2000
There are some things about sports I don't like... the New Yuck Muts, the University of Michigan and those ASSCRACK UGLY HELMETS, the Floridamn Gayturds and the Miami Crimicanes. I also think that NASCRAP and professional wrestling are a HUGE waste of air time on television and would rather watch women's Jello wrestling!

How did New York get past the Red Sox? And I believe that the Wild Card will come from the AL Central.

I agree Rawb. Cleveland takes it and Detroit gets the wild. Detroit is going to be tough this year. Go Tribe!

Being an Atlanta fan, I love that fact that you have them placed first. But the rest is just ridiculous. Where the hell is Milwaukee? Why's Colorado in fourth in the NL West? Florida in second in the NL East? Minnesota taking the Central? Pffffttt!

I think you're stuck somewhere in 2006, buddy. Minnesota first? Los Angeles Dodgers first? Braves first?

You can at least tell us WHY you picked Minnesota over Detroit (a team who acquired D-Train and Miguel Cabrera), Cleveland (a team who didn't make any moves, and why should they when they have 2 of the top 3 pitchers from last year, and a great offense?). At least the White Sox were able to make some moves? Is Fran Liriano miraculously going to win 30 more games for the Twins?

LA was fourth last year. You put Colorado (a team who made it to the World Series last year) fourth. At least EXPLAIN why you put them fourth.

I'm not even going to go to the NL Central since you didn't put the Brewers in the division.

NL East: Philly in last place... hmm.... apparantly, Washington is going to do better than a team who has Cole Hammels, Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, and the friggin NL MVP! JIMMY ROLLINS! HELLO!?

Putting all of this aside, please add the Brewers somewhere and EXPLAIN why you put the teams where you did. That's why you have so many critics in your article.

glad i don't have to respond to the phillies thing...

i mean, i'll give you New York...and maybe atlanta...

But Florida finishing second? With what?

and Washington ahead of the Phils...come on now...

Phillies ahead of the Nationals is one way to put. But Phillies in LAST with Chase Utley starting off with a whole new season is what kills me to see. He thinks the Phils will finish last, and he won't tell us why!

The Phillies were swept in the postseason by Colorado. The only way they even got into the postseason was because the New York Mets pulled a "Wheeze Kids" impersonation and lost in the last few days of the season. The Mets also lost Tom Glavine, which gives the Braves a much deeper rotation in the bullpen, especially if Hampton's health improves. Granted, New York did get Santana. Whether or not that works remains to be seen.

Apparently you aren't aware Hampton is injured again. Minnesota would have finished third with Santana, now, they could finish last.

The Phillies won the division because they won the most games and beat New York on a continuous basis, but I don't think anyone who picks Florida 2nd in the NL East would realize that

WS: Pirates over Royals in 7.

It really is fun, especially when you create the results for what would happen if you had a reverse playoff system that lead to demotion to AAA with the loser advancing each round.

I remember the Rockies article about 1 1/2 years ago, with someone writing about how the Rockies would make it/win the World Series in '07 (next year at the time). He actually EXPLAINED why though. Are you REALLY that worried that the Phillies will finish last, JuT? Don't let him get to ya. ;)
