After a bit of a tumult in the off season that reminded of the Pete Kendall situation, the New York Post has reported that TE Chris Baker has signed a 3 year contract extension to remain a New York Jet. The contract is set to pay Chris $12.2 million over the three years, including $9 million in guaranteed money. The guaranteed money is contingent, however, on Baker playing in 50 % of the 2008 offensive plays and that he is still on the roster come the 5th day of the 2009 league year, in March.
