Indianapolis wide receiver Marvin Harrison involved in shooting.

Anthony Gargano of WIP Radio in Philadelphia is reporting that Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison is accused of being involved in a recent shooting at a bar he owns in that city.  ESPN is reporting that the incident allegedly took place Tuesday night, April 29, at a North Philadelphia bar called "Playmakers." Authorities are investigating whether Harrison was the actual shooter.

Harrison allegedly was escorting a man from his bar when a scuffle broke out between the two. Witnesses on the scene report that Harrison dealt with the trouble-maker handily and that Harrison "had hands like a ninja". As they were leaving the bar, shots rang out. Harrison, known as a quiet and hard-working wideout, is said to be cooperating with police. Authorities are analyzing ballistics from the scene, where one person, and possibly two, was struck.

Marvin Harrison owns 10 licensed and registered handguns. The handgun involved is reported to be a .50 caliber, 7-shot automatic. No word on whether or not the gun is a Colt.

Okay hold on, nowhere in that report does it say that Harrison shot or pulled a gun on someone. I he escorted someone out o his bar he has every right to do that.

In other news, from ESPN...

Police came to the scene, but the victim did not identify a shooter. On Wednesday, according to the source, ballistic tests showed that the gun that had fired the shots was a custom-made Belgian weapon, and police determined that Harrison owned such a gun.

Police then went to a Philadelphia car wash owned by Harrison to question him about the gun. Harrison admitted owning such a weapon, but claimed it never left his suburban Philadelphia home.

However, the source said the gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash, and tests showed that it had fired seven bullets that matched those found at the scene."

A custom made Belgian handgun that is similar to a model that Harrison owns. Found in a bucket at a Carwash that he owns. Ballistics indicates that it was the weapon used in the crime.

I try not to be too quick to judge, but I usually do. My point is that things don't look good for Harrison.

That would be a shocker. I smell a Peyton Manning commercial about gun awareness.

Now they're saying on ESPN that the shooting allegedly took place on the highway between 2 vehicles. This is going to be fun!
