Manchester United Football club play their football games at Old Trafford which has a capacity of 76,212 the highest in England, but despite this United sell out the stadium for every game.

For away matches Manchester United will normally get an allocation of around 2,500 tickets and receive over 12,000 applications for these tickets.

For both of these reasons getting to see Manchester United play can be very hard as tickets are hugely in demand. In order to get tickets we can recommend two ways for you. Firstly you can contact Manchester United directly and we recommend you do this on the day before the game as the club will often have last minute cancellations.

The alternative is to use a reputable ticket agent and we recommend using United Ticket Agency for Manchester United Tickets as they sell tickets for both Home Games and Manchester United Away Games

Old Trafford is around 3 miles from Manchester City Centre and is easily reached by car, bus, train and tram. There are several pubs and restaurants in the area and you can also purchase alcohol, soft drinks and food within Old Trafford itself.

There are four stands that make up The Theatre of Dreams, the Stretford End, North Stand, South stand and East Stand, with most of the atmosphere coming from the World famous Stretford End.

On non match days visitors to Old Trafford can visit the Manchester United Museum and can also go on a stadium tour that takes around an hour to complete and is well recommended to all Manchester United fans. The club has a very large Megastore where visitors can buy all the merchandise they want.

In 2009/10 Manchester United will play 38 games in the Premier League, and a minimum of 3 games in the Champions League, and 1 each in the FA Cup and Carling Cup. During the 2008/09 season Manchester United played a total of 67 games winning over half of them. The top scorer for the season was Portuguese International Cristiano Ronaldo with 26 goals. Ronaldo has now left the club to join Real Madrid who play in La Liga the Spanish Premier division.

A season ticket for Manchester United starts at around £600 but goes up to £10,000 for executive facilities. Currently there is a 20,000 people waiting list to get one.

Once you are in Manchester itself there is plenty to do as the city centre is full of Museums, shops, bars, restaurants and casinos. There are plenty of hotels available with budgets to suit all wallets, starting from £40 going up to £200 a night and beyond. The city is home to over 1,000,000 residents and is spread over a vast area of suburbs.

The nearest airport to Manchester is Manchester International Airport which is situated to the south east of the city. The city centre has many buses, 3 train stations and its own tram system, along with many taxis so getting around is very easy to do. Manchester is well worth coming to visit.

err they won the Premier League for the third time in a row, alongside the World Championship and the Carling Cup, that makes it three trophies, what did arsenal win again? or last year? or the year before? or the year before?

wow, the Carling Cup? Wow! That's amazing! The Carling Cup! Did they win the FA Youth Cup too? How bout the Women's PL?

And calling that FIFA club title the "World Championship" is like calling the Confederations Cup the "World Championship."

So very lame.

Arsenal won the hearts of many and much sympathy for having the likes of Diaby, Fabianski, and Eboue on an elite team. ;-)

You sound very very very bitter, let me spell it out to you again Manchester United won the Premier League for the 3rd time in a row. Meanwhile Arsenal limped along for another 4th place finish. We have now won the league 18 times and the European Cup 3 times, remind me again how many times have Arsenal won it?? xx

Hey man, full respect to Man U for winning the League. But just don't try to pull trebles out of your backside by claiming the Carling Cup as a "trophy" because it's nothing more than a paperweight.
