There are some things about sports I don't like... the New Yuck Muts, the University of Michigan and those ASSCRACK UGLY HELMETS, the Floridamn Gayturds and the Miami Crimicanes. I also think that NASCRAP and professional wrestling are a HUGE waste of air time on television and would rather watch women's Jello wrestling!

According to KTRK-TV in Houston, John Grimsley, who played linebacker for the Oilers from 1984 through 1990, was found dead in his Missouri City home from an apparent gunshot wound. The discovery was made shortly after a 911 call Wednesday morning. At this point, investigators don't think there was any foul play. "This does not appear to be a crime of violence. It appears to be a accident," said MCPD Detective Steve Glave.

"I don't know all of the details at this point, but it is certainly terrible news," said Tennessee Titans owner K.S. 'Bud' Adams, Jr., in a statement. "John was a fine player for us and part of the group that helped rebuild the Oilers into a perennial playoff team in the late 80's and early 90's. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time." The incident remains under investigation.

Grimsley was born in Canton, Ohio on February 25, 1962, attended the University of Kentucky and was drafted by the Oilers in the 6th round, the 141st pick in 1984.

I just hope this doesn't end up being another situation like this It's facking sad how the NFL turns its backs on players once they've retired.
