There are some things about sports I don't like... the New Yuck Muts, the University of Michigan and those ASSCRACK UGLY HELMETS, the Floridamn Gayturds and the Miami Crimicanes. I also think that NASCRAP and professional wrestling are a HUGE waste of air time on television and would rather watch women's Jello wrestling!

Fenway resembling scene from Hitchcock's "The Birds"

The next time you're touring Fenway Park, don't feed the birds. In a scene that would make Alfred Hitchcock happy and Tippy Hedren nervous, a red tailed hawk and an endangered species, attacked a young tourist who was part of a middle school group touring the home of the two-time World Series champions, according to the Associated Press and the team today. Video of the attack can be seen on Yahoo.com and WBZ-TV Boston's website.

Fortunately, the young lady was not hurt badly but she will have a story to tell at school Friday. She was taken to an area hospital and released.

The hawk, who was doing nothing more than defending her nest, which had one egg sitting in an overhang near the press box, flew at the girl and swooper with its talons extended, scratching her scalp.

The nest and egg were removed at the direction of Massachusetts wildlife officials. No word if the bird was a Yankees fan.
