There are some things about sports I don't like... the New Yuck Muts, the University of Michigan and those ASSCRACK UGLY HELMETS, the Floridamn Gayturds and the Miami Crimicanes. I also think that NASCRAP and professional wrestling are a HUGE waste of air time on television and would rather watch women's Jello wrestling!

ESPN's Jacobson suspended

For those of you wondering where Dana Jacobson has been, wonder no more. She's taking some time off and not of her choosing.

According to published reports, ESPN Radio hosts Mike & Mike roast were the subject of a celebrity roast in Atlantic City, in which ESPN's Dana Jacobson apparently had too much to drink and a vulgar mouth to go with it. One report said Jacobson was drinking straight from a bottle of the high-end vodka Belvedere.

Jacobson is paying for actions. She has been suspended one week, according to the Chicago Tribune.

ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz told the Tribune : "Her actions and comments were inappropriate and we've dealt with it." However, Krulewitz did not confirm or deny the suspension.

Seems that the worldwide leader in sports isn't the only group Jacobson is in hot water with. The Catholic League put out a press release detailing some of Jacobson's alleged anti-Notre Dame comments.

In a statement, Jacobson said, "My actions at the roast were inappropriate and in no way represent who I am. I won't make excuses for my behavior, but I do hope I can be forgiven for such a poor lack of judgment."

There are consequences for all of our actions. Life teaches us some hard lessons. Maybe she's learned hers.

I know why I like her so much. "F*ck Norte Dame, and F*ck Touchdown Jesus" indeed.

The Catholic League sounds like a group of superhero priests and nuns featured in a lame comic book published by the Church in a vein effort to make Catholicism seem "cool" to kids. I can't believe she's getting in actual trouble for using potentially offensive profanity at a roast. Has the Tribune ever heard of the Friar's Club?

The Catholic League is something like that Rawbee: their actually a group of priest who lure in children with lame comic books and then moleste them. When they are done they return the child to his bedroom and tell him it was "only a dream" before escaping through the window.

Did they ever suspend the person who was responsible for the "Who's Now" segments?

ESPN's Dana Jacobson apparently had too much to drink and a vulgar mouth As opposed to the squeaky clean non-alcoholic roasts you see everyday.

The catholic league is an embarrassment. It's like on guy who cries foul over everything. Did she actually say F touchdown Jesus? How is that offensive?

Because touchdown Jesus for Notre Dame wasn't very busy this year.

Thing I hate about american media: When things like this happen they never tell you what was actually said. Occasionally as with Imus there's audio so they cannot hide it. But when there's no audio or video they never tell you what was actually said that was offensive.

Exactly it was a roast youre susppossed to say offensive things, and youre suspposed to be funny and taken light heartedly. I mean if you watch one of the roast of like Flavor Flav and that sort o fthing there were plenty of bad things said about Blacks but you dont see us blasting everyone over it.

granted, F**K Jesus isn't at all relevant to the roast. She should have stopped before that

For me not to know exactly what Dana Jacobsen said has me not pass complete judgment on what exactly got her suspended. While we as a whole should be respectful of other people, this was a friggin' roast for Christ sakes! You're supposed to rip other people! Well, if she did say something completely inappropriate where it in fact more than just insulted a religious faith, I can understand. Whatever, the media will always blow crap out of proportion anyway, so God knows what I should believe anymore.

How boring can one get? The roast wasn't a "roast Jesus." Lame brains and cowards who can't think of anything relevant and clever to say simply demean a religious figure famous for "turning the other cheek" among more amazing feats.
