Is there anybody besides me that thinks this weeks AfC  game is a waste of time.

There was only one team left that could give the Patriots a game and they lost

to the Bolts. Now to make it worse the bolts are mouthing off. That's a good way to get a beatin.

anybody remember the Redskins DB that bad mouthed Brady.Pats by 3 touchdowns.

You don't think the Packers, if they beat the Giants, can hang with the Patriots (should they beat the Chargers)? Please elaborate.

I guess Frugolf is finished with football for the season.

History in the making isn't enough to get your attention?

The NFL will have to try harder next year.

Not so fast. Can't be the NFL playoffs unless there is a scandal involving a player and a woman. This time its Randy Moss.

I've listened to Moss about 10 times today, and I believe him. It doesn't make sense. The guy just had his best season ever, is about to win his first Super Bowl ring, and become the first team to go 19-0. Why would he get into a fight, and subsequently lie about it, have a press conference about it, and the woman's attorney's not respond to anyone unless he didn't harm her.

keep in mind he says he doesn't know if she's hurt or not, but he didn't hurt her.

The woman is obviously a gold digger. 100 grand for a finger injury that didn't require immediate attention, that claims moss prohibited her from getting medical attention when she was completely independent, and that won't even release a statement

That's funny, because I listened to him once and he admitted it. Said it was an "accident." And the woman wasn't some one night stand either, he's known her for 12 years. Moss has been a millionaire for how long? If she was gold digging she would have bought a shovel a long time ago. Maybe it was an accident, maybe she's pissed because he wouldn't drive her to the ER or whatever, but no doubt something happened.

I believe he said that something did happen.

Damn straight she's a gold digger. She didn't need immediate medical attention, and she's asking for 6 figures for a finger injury. it was her house, and she had a car. She obviously didn't have a finger cut off of bleeding badly or anything that would prevent her from getting help.

And still, why would he lie at a press conference, in doing so break his season long midweek silence, and do so without the attornies releasing a statement on behalf of the "victim".

Btw, here's the story Rawb: [1]

I mean, yes, but not with the negative connotation you are giving it KD. He placed his hand on her, that's physical contact, but it doesn't mean he did anything wrong...

I think the Giants could give the Pats a game as proved by the last game of the season. The question is can they get by the Packers. The last time they played them was an embarassment. As far as the Packers beating the Patriots, I can't see that on a warm dry field. If they could play them on the tundra, Maybe.

I read this on yahoo:

2004- #1 seed Steelers lose in Playoffs

2005- #1 seed Colts lose in Playoffs, Steelers win Superbowl

2006- #1 seed Chargers lose in Playoffs, Colts Win Superbowl

Is this the Chargers year?

If there was only one team left to beat the Pats and they were the Colts, then why do the Chargers have no chance at all? They beat the only team that has a chance twice! Waste of time? We'll see.

2 defensive lineman are questionable.

Their 2 top offensive performers are questionable.

Their QB is questionable, with a sprained MCL in both knees, which means if he starts, he'll be less mobile than the lineman.

The Pats haven't lost a playoff game @ home in over 30 years.

They beat a Colts team that couldn't establish the running game, and had Harrison cough the ball up.

They survived a brutally bad performance because their defense was able to come through. Rest assure that after Brady's last performance throwing 2 Incomplete passes all night (one of which was dropped), the Chargers have a lot more stacked up against them than they did vs Indy

Football games are won the field by the participants and not by a bunch of overzealous bandwagon jumpers glory tooting for the sake of their own superficial egos on a sports website.

Of course those who really understand the true nature of competitive team sports from personal experience already fathom that rather simplistic truth.

But then again such knowledgeable individuals probably would not lay such premature claims in cyberspace anyways.
