As Bill Bellichick gets his troops ready for the playoffs he receives an honor. Bellichick had been announced as the coach of the year! Surprisingly! His New England Patriots may be 16-0 and working on the most historic season ever, but these awards tend to go to the guys who did a lot with a little. For instance Wade Phillips has a ton of talent on the Cowboys but he turned the first round losers in to a team with home field throughout the playoffs. Bellichick also beat out Mike McCarthy, who I thought would win the award. He turned his Packers into a 13-3 team after a 8-8 season.
