Cleveland blows doors open, beats Braves 7-1 (Game Recap)

Righthander Fausto Carmona allowed one run and four hits in six innings and tuned up for his start against Chicago Tuesday as the Cleveland Indians scored four times in the fourth inning to give the Tribe a 7-1 win over Atlanta at Turner Field Friday night. He struck out two and walked one, throwing 59 of his 99 pitches for strikes in six innnings of work.
Cleveland chased losing pitcher Jair Jurrjens out of the contest in the fourth, after facing one batter in that inning, to break a 1-1 tie. Atlanta got their only tally of the preseason contest when second baseman Kelly Johnson drove in center fielder Mark Kotsay in the third inning.
