There are some things about sports I don't like... the New Yuck Muts, the University of Michigan and those ASSCRACK UGLY HELMETS, the Floridamn Gayturds and the Miami Crimicanes. I also think that NASCRAP and professional wrestling are a HUGE waste of air time on television and would rather watch women's Jello wrestling!

Aggies avenge January overtime loss to Baylor - Game recap

This time, the Texas A&M Aggies were the one doing the gigging. Avenging a 116-110 triple overtime loss to Baylor in College Station January 23rd, Texas A&M made short work of their hosts from Waco this evening, beating up the Bears 71-57.

The Aggies, now 22-8 overall and 8-7 in Big XII play, led by a 26-21 margin at the intermission before doing more damage to the Bears (20-9, 8-7) to even the score from the prior loss. Josh Carter and Donald Sloan led all scorers with 17 points each. Baylor did not have a player score in double figures. Mamadou Diene led all Baylor scorers with 9 points in the loss.

Things got a bit on the chippy side when both teams got technicals for talking smack to each other. Baylor’s LaceDarius Dunn was called for a technical foul with 1:01 left, prompting loud boos.

Sloan finished off the game with a showboat dunk, drawing more angry jeers from the pro-Baylor crowd as fans threw plastic soda bottles onto the floor as the Aggies trotted off the floor, smiles on their faces.

Texas A&M, who were beaten soundly by Oklahoma at Norman last Saturday, closes out the 2007-08 Big XII season at home vs. number 5 Kansas. Baylor travels to northwest Texas to take on Patrick Knight's Red Raiders of Texas Tech Saturday to close out their part of the 2007-08 Big XII campaign.
