After a Short Tour, Walker's Rants are Back

Alright after a little bit of time off Walker’s Rants are back.  We spent the last week on the road, going on a short tour with the D.C. Slayers’ and currently we are broadcasting from Fayetteville North Carolina so stop on by and grab a beer with us.  Now we may have been a little quiet but you can guarantee we got something to say, and I’m looking at you Brett Favre.

Aaron Rogers has replaced Eli Manning as my "Guy I Feel Sorry for Because He Gets Shit For Absolutely No Reason". It's ridiculous...he has said all of the right things and done what's been asked of him, yet here is this attention-seeking shenanigan bringing all of this crap onto him (none of which he asked for or deserved), and he's now our favorite punchline. He has handled the pressure so far, hopefully it won't get to him and he WILL be the GB starter when September rolls around. He even cut his hair! Leave this guy alone!

Yeah, I agree, I mean he did make 1 comment on Rome that was out of line saying he didn't care what Packer fans thought, dumb idea. Besides that, Rogers will catch crap his entire tenure in Green Bay and anything short of a Super Bowl will be a disappointment, and that's a shame considering the guy has brittle bones and will spend time on the Injury list not the place to be when following sports greatest ironman

I quasi-agree about the giants...if your expectation is another super bowl run, then yes but amongst the football versed I think its playoffs really

I think the giants will scrap to 8-8 (or around there) and miss the playoffs, but its not terribly surprising given their QB play and secondary...

As for the Vikings? They're not surprising anyone...

I have to agree that driving to Jacksonville is awful. I had a girlfriend that lived there, god awful drive full of nothingness. And didn't Canseco claim that he has some sort of black belt? And USC will not lose a non-conference game. Much less to UVA. Sorry, not happenin.

It's more fun, I couldn't watch the whole fight it was that boring. Klitschko doesn't dominate anyone, he just punches 3 times and holds, 2 jabs and an overhand right hook and hold, rinse, wash, repeat.

Vladimir is just lucky that there is no one, and I mean no one, in the heavyweight division that can beat him up.

Tony Thompson is 144 years old and he was supposed to be knocked out, just not that late in the fight.

But, Klitschko got jobbed in his match against Lewis. He was dominating the fight and then a cut that was opened on a headbut ended up forcing the fight to an early end. All of this Klitschko talk wouldn't exist if the ref had called that first title fight correctly.

Ding Ding Ding, I agree. Mayweather is a dancer and he may be the fastest boxer I've seen but his fights aren't interesting. The problem is people want to see a Rocky style fight and those just don't happen, and there just aren't many brawling style boxers unless you go down tot he welter weight guys.
