A Cool Breeze From the NFL Draft

Hey Fans,

This weekend young men - VERY LARGE - young men will be conscripted into indentured service, at least for the first few years at large amounts of guaranteed money. This is happening right here in the United States. You may have heard of the organization, it's referred to as The National Football League, NFL for short. Jake Long will go down in history as the first and most wealthy ($30 million guaranteed, even if he turns out to be another Ryan Leaf!) of a group of elite athletes, that were surely their high school captain and probably the captain of their college team, unless they left school early for the NFL Mega-Bucks. The NFL is still licking its wounds from the Michael Vick affair so they can definitely use a feel-good story to assuage their millions of fans. The NHL got lucky, Sidney Crosby and Evegeny Malkin play the New York Rangers in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Hopefully, the TV numbers will be good. I saw Crosby play in person. He plays sort of like Gretzky, not as well, but close.

Good luck in the Draft. May your NFL team get a sleeper in the sixth round and may he wind up a starter in Year I.
