There are some things about sports I don't like... the New Yuck Muts, the University of Michigan and those ASSCRACK UGLY HELMETS, the Floridamn Gayturds and the Miami Crimicanes. I also think that NASCRAP and professional wrestling are a HUGE waste of air time on television and would rather watch women's Jello wrestling!

AFL Week 7 Picks

This week’s picks are sponsored by MyBabyDaddy.com

Last week: 4-4, Season 34-12. First bad week since I started picking AFL games. Now I know how Memphis felt. At least I did better than they did at the free throw line. But that’s a story for another day. Here are this week’s picks.

Colorado Crush (2-3) @ Cleveland Gladiators (3-2). Last week: Colorado beat Los Angeles, Cleveland lost to Dallas. Cleveland ranks number 12 in passing and second in rushing. Colorado was idle last week, so the rest may do them some good… or not. The Gladiators led Dallas in every category except the one that counts, the final score. I doubt if they’ll make the same mistake twice. Cleveland wins it but Colorado will play above themselves.

New Orleans VooDoo (5-1) @ Dallas Desperados (6-0). Last week: New Orleans beat San Jose, Dallas edged Cleveland. This is the first meeting between these two teams. Dallas struggled to keep its head above water last week at home, while New Orleans had their way with the SaberCats in the Bayou City. Dallas is going to be a little hungrier than last week and it will show in Big D. Dallas keeps its unbeaten streak in tact.

Utah Blaze (0-6) @ Los Angeles Avengers (2-4). Last week: Utah lost to Philadelphia, Los Angeles lost to Colorado. Los Angeles was held to 296 yards total offense, while Utah gave Philadelphia a scare. Los Angeles moves one step closer to the .500 mark with a win.

Philadelphia Soul (6-0) @ San Jose SaberCats (3-3). Last week: Philadelphia edged Utah, San Jose lost to New Orleans. This is the only time that the two teams will meet this season, which will make the Soul happy. San Jose may know the way to the arena but that’s about it. Soul takes but it will be close. The SaberCats are better than their record.

Orlando Predators (4-2) @ Grand Rapids Rampage (2-3). Last week: Grand Rapids lost to New York, Orlando beat Chicago. Both teams are headed in different directions. The Predators survived a scare from the Windy City in the form of the Rush and have to avoid the same fate against the Avengers, who got whacked faster than Tony Soprano by New York on the island last week. I don’t think that even Big Pussy could save the Rampage this week. Orlando. Enough said.

Arizona Rattlers (2-3) @ Tampa Bay Storm (2-3). Last week: Tampa fell to Columbus, Arizona was idle. Tampa led in every offensive category against Columbus but could not seal the deal. History will NOT repeat itself this time. Look for Tampa to take this one.

Columbus Destroyers (2-4) @ New York Dragons (2-4). Last week: New York beat Grand Rapids, Columbus beat Tampa Bay. New York took a 35-0 lead into the intermission and never looked back against Grand Rapids, while Columbus rallied late to edge Tampa Bay. This might be one of the more interesting games this week, since both teams are below the Mendoza line. The Dragons say “Goodbye Columbus.”

Chicago Rush (4-2) @ Kansas City Brigade (0-5). Last week: Chicago lost to Orlando, Kansas City lost to Georgia. The Brigade thought they were General Sherman when they came to Gwinnett Centre to try and beat the Force. Georgia was not having any of that, pulling their record to .500 while keeping the Brigade out of the win column. Chicago played about a decent a game as they could but couldn’t seal the deal. Chicago keeps Kansas City winless this week.

Idle: Georgia
