There are some things about sports I don't like... the New Yuck Muts, the University of Michigan and those ASSCRACK UGLY HELMETS, the Floridamn Gayturds and the Miami Crimicanes. I also think that NASCRAP and professional wrestling are a HUGE waste of air time on television and would rather watch women's Jello wrestling!

AFL Week 5 Picks

This week's AFL Picks are brought to you by Bear Naked Stearns.

Hope everyone had a great Easter and gotten as much chocolate bunnies as possible. Last week, there were some pretty good AFL games and some blowouts. Once again, I went 6-2 for the week, which makes me for the season 24-8. Not bad. Not bad at all.

So here are this week's picks

Arizona (2-2) at Chicago (3-1). Arizona beat New York in the desert 62-33, while Chicago beat Colorado in the Windy City 70-35. Both teams are coming off huge wins but it will be the one that comes off the adrenalin high first. Chicago takes this one at Allstate Arena.

Tampa Bay (2-1) at Philadelphia (4-0). Tampa was idle last week, while Philadelphia made Jon Bon Jovi, EPSN's Ron Jaworski and Richie Sambora happy men by beating up Los Angeles on the West Coast 71-34. No sense in seeing a good thing come to an end. Philadelphia evens Tampa's record while staying unblemished.

San Jose (2-2) at Kansas City (0-3). Both teams are coming off losses last week, both teams losing on the road. All good things (or bad things) come to an end this week. I see Kansas City taking this one but it will be close.

Orlando (2-2) at Columbus (1-3). Two more teams that won last week. The Predators took apart Georgia last week in Orlando. Columbus edged a suprisingly good Utah team, despite what their record would indicate. I see Orlando as the better team this time and will take this one to the house.

Georgia (1-3) at Utah (0-4). Georgia took it on the chin in Orlando last week, losing by five to the Predators. Utah is looking for their first win of the season. Utah can just keep looking! Georgia will be on their minds and in the win column this time around.

Los Angeles (2-2) at Grand Rapids (1-2). LA was basically told by Philadelphia to "Have a nice day" by the Soul last week in Los Angeles. Grand Rapids went off on Kansas City last week, winning by 40 points at home. This one's not an easy one to pick but as Chris Berman once said, "That's why they play the games!" Los Angeles avenges the loss last week.

Dallas (4-0) at New York (1-3). Dallas won as tight a game as could be played against San Jose last week. New York is looking to right their ship. The only good thing New York has going for them is that Isaiah Thomas is not in charge. Dallas takes New York to task.

New Orleans (3-1) at Colorado (1-2). New Orelans is hosting Arena Bowl XXII, so they definitely have something to fight for. They spanked Cleveland last week at home 63-24, while Colorado lost to Chicago. "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez," which means "Let the good times roll." The VooDoo will take that advice and put a spell on Colorado, even with Elway watching.

Idle - Cleveland (3-1)

The battle between Adidas and the University of Central Florida over the brand of shoes Michael Jordan's son will wear has cost the school any future sponsorship with Adidas. Ring, ring. That must be Nike on the phone.
