AGM Linebacker and I will bring the pain.

I'm a sports fanatic. I hail from Nelson County Virginia, and thats where I learned to be a Virginia Cavalier fan. I also learned to be a Dallas Cowboys fan because I hated how good the Redskins were doing. I've played sports at almost every level with the exception of being a fulltime professional, as a result I have a great perception on the sporting world. I love to talk sports and I've never been shy to share my opinion with someone.

2008 Summer Olympics Day 12-Redeem Team Keeps Rolling

The Redeem Team came to Bejing with one goal in mind; win the Gold. Matter of fact anything less than a Gold medal and a dominating performance would be considered a waste. Wednesday in China the Redeem Team took another step in their quest for perfection. Despite a slow start, the Redeem Team was able to trounce an Australian squad that had given the U.S.A their toughest match to date. Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 25 in his best Olympic performance on the day. The win moves the U.S. into the semifinals and guarantees them at least a shot at a medal. But we all know there is only one acceptable medal this team can bring home.

Elsewhere, Usian Bolt has struck again. This time in the 200m where he broke the 12 year World Record set by Michael Johnson in the 1996 Olympics. Once thought to be unbreakable. Johnson ran the 200m in 19.32 Wednesday Bolt sprinted through the finished and recorded the unofficial time of 19.30

Nothing wrong with being a showboat long as you get the job done. Don't like it, beat him

I wish he actually tried though. He might never be in this form again, so we might never know how fast he can go.

The reports I saw said he didn't showboat in the final, unlike the 100. If only we had the ability to get television pumped over here from China so we could watch live, we'd all know for sure.

He pushed it the whole way through the 200. He shut it down early in the semis but not in the last race.

USA v Argentina will be interesting. From what I've seen of the tournament (quite a lot thanks to BBCi), the US have been the best team by a country mile so far. Greece were a three point shot away from beating Argentina. I can't see Argentina causing a problem. However, I can see Lithuania causing a problem in the Final, should they beat the Spaniards.

I'm rooting for Lithuania to win against Spain. I want to see Jesse Cabbages perform like he's in an NBA game instead of NBA Jam.

Hell it was Cabbages play in the 04 games that got him into the USA and to Maryland on a scholarship and then to Indy

I haven't liked the name redeem team from the beginning. Mostly because it isn't the same group of players and this team isn't anything like the last one. This 2008 team is as good as the dream team and maybe even better because this team plays something the dream team didn't DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE games are won and lost on defense and we will never know if the dream team could have played as good as defense as this team. Go USA and stick it too'em. Hard and Quick with this team even the refs can't take it from them. Spain, Lithuania, Argentina doesn't matter US is too too quick too too fast and too many weapons with a defense that is next to none.
