Born on October 24, 1969 in Waco, Texas, Arthur Rhodes (Arthur Lee Rhodes) played for the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 16 year career. Rhodes broke into the bigs on August 21, 1991 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 3.63 ERA in 94.1 innings pitched in 1992, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Arthur Rhodes's best season was 2001, when he posted a 1.72 ERA and struck out 83 batters.
