Ron Artest has some major problems, first, we go back to the Pacers-Pistons brawl on November 19, 2004, when he went into the stands, and fought with a fan that threw a cup of beer or something at him. He was suspended for the remainder of the season (73 games, plus the playoffs if the Pacers went to them). On January 26, 2006 Ron Artest was traded to the Sacramento Kings for Foward Peja Stojakovic.
On March 5, 2007, Ron Artest was arrested for Domestic Abuse, and Kings GM Geoff Petrie excused Artest until he's ready to come back, which happened to be March 10, five days later. Then, on May 3, he was sentenced to 20 days in jail and community service, for his arrest back on March 5.
Today, it has been announced that Artest will be suspended for the first ten days of the 07-08 season for the spousal abuse from March 5, I don't know about any of the NBA teams, but if I was the Kings GM, I would release Artest right now, and let him think about all the trouble he has been causing.
It may only be two mistakes, but that is two too many, and Artest needs to be carefull about what he does, he may end up like Tank Johnson.....jobless.
