Art Statuto (Arthur G. Statuto) was born on July 17, 1925 in Saugus, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Saugus (MA), Statuto attended the University of Notre Dame. Statuto made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time. Statuto also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Rams the entire time.
