Art Spinney (Arthur F. Spinney) was born on November 8, 1927 in Saugus, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Manlius Military Academy (NY) and Saugus (MA), Spinney attended Boston College. Spinney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1950 was Art Spinney's best year.
