Born on April 25, 1924 in Mill Valley, California, Art Schallock (Arthur Lawrence Schallock) played for the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 5 year career. Schallock broke into the bigs on July 16, 1951 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 4.21 ERA in 83.1 innings pitched in 1955, his rookie year.
