Art Ruble (William Arthur Ruble) was born on March 11, 1903 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1927 for the Detroit Tigers. Ruble played for the Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 2 year career.
